Course: Outlook 2010: Clearing Your Inbox
Description:
This is a trainer-led course delivered over two one-hour session, approximately a week apart. This allows attendees the chance to practice their new skills at work and bring additional questions or ideas to the second session and receive tailored and specific advice
 
By the end of this course you will be able to:
  • create a strategy for clearing your email inbox and keeping it clear on a daily basis
  • turn off automated notifications of new email messages as they arrive
  • convert selected email messages into tasks and calendar appointments
  • create a folder system for filing messages you need to refer to in the future
  • understand the use of rules in managing your inbox and how to create them
  • group related messages that follow on from one another
  • sort messages in many ways to quickly identify messages that can be deleted
  • selectively delete large quantities of messages

Prerequisites:
Basic understanding of Outlook email, calendar and tasks.
