Who is this course for?
This course is suitable for all managers, grade 7 or above, who are involved in, or preparing for strategic or operational planning within the LSE.
Overview
The ability to think strategically is an increasing requirement where staff must be able to rise above the established and day-to-day in order to develop longer term plans. This highly participative workshop will provide a structured approach for developing strategic plans as well as a process for translating this into operational detail.
By the end of this course you will

Understand what is meant by strategy and how this relates to your role

Be familiar with a range of key strategic thinking models and tools

Appreciate how to turn strategy into operational plans
Effective Behaviour Framework
This course will support the Continuous improvement, and Delivering excellent service behaviours at The School and beyond level.
