Who is this course for?
This course is suitable for all staff who would like to develop their skills and understanding of assertiveness, so that they may effectively manage a range of situations by improving their personal impact, and also learn how to build rapport with others. 
On this course you will discover the difference between four common types of human behaviour and how this affects the way in which we communicate.  You will understand how to deal with four common difficult personalities, how to make an initial impact and build rapport.  This course will help you to communicate more effectively at work and in your everyday life.
By the end of this course you will

  • Understand the four common types of human behaviour
  • Have practised key assertive behaviours for a range of challenging situations
  • Have strategies for dealing with difficult personality types
  • Know how to make an initial impact and build rapport
  • Improve your questioning and listening skills
