Balancing Work and Being Mum |

Who is this course for? This workshop is suitable for all staff and partners of staff working at the LSE who are new and expectant mothers to explore how to find the balance between being a mother and having a career. Overview This is an interactive workshop delivered by Working Families, which provides practical tools and insightful information on how to achieve a balance between being Mum and balancing work. It is also an opportunity to meet other new Mum's informally from across the School. By the end of this workshop you will
- Understand how to recognise and manage perceived barriers to balance in the workplace and to working flexibly
- Have an overview of the legal and internal policy requirements related to maternity, paternity and parental leave
- Have a deepened awareness of how to remain flexible and resilient to shifting priorities
- Gain some tools and techniques to help manage and integrate work, career and home alongside fulfilling personal goals
After the workshop There is a Carer's Network which is available. |
