Course: Introduction to social science and government data
Description:

Government and social science statistics have been at the heart of the mission of the LSE since 1895.  This session will look at some of the Data Library resources which fall into this category.  Resources covered include: UK Data Service, OECD iLibrary, ICPSR and Global Insight.  These can help you answer questions about the state of world development, how much money is spent on health by OECD countries and many more.  Some information about our offline datasets which complement these resources  will also be provided.
 

Prerequisites:

This session is aimed primarily at MSc and PhD students but is open to all.
