| Description: | Who is this course for? This programme is particularly relevant for team leaders, middle managers and people in leadership roles who are currently Grade 6 or above, who are required to make presentations that aim to persuade or help the audience arrive at sound decisions. You should already have experience of delivering presentations and may have attended presentation skills training in the past. Overview Presentations are used not merely to communicate our message but to also influence and persuade our audiences. It is critical, therefore, that individuals have a high level of skills to use presentations as a powerful tool for influencing outcomes. By the end of this course you will
Before the course This is a highly participative course using group work, discussions, feedback and extensive practice sessions (some of which will be recorded on video). To get maximum value from the training, all participants attending must bring with them a short five minute presentation/speech that they have recently delivered, or design one to bring with them that they are due to deliver in the future. You will be asked to deliver the presentation during the training which will be recorded on video and played back. At the end of the course you will be encouraged to produce a personal action plan designed to improve your public speaking ability in the workplace.
