Who is this course for?
 
This course is suitable for all staff who are currently working in a project team or who have attended the Project Management (Level 1) course, or have similar level experience.  This highly practical course builds on your current project management skills and provides you with useful techniques to support you in developing your project management role further and concentrates on the practical techniques that you can apply directly to the workplace.
 
Overview
 
This course is focused on exploring in more depth the fundamental principles of successful project management and provides an introduction to the Project Management Office technique of standardising approaches and methods.
 
By the end of this course you will
 

• Understand advanced risk management including; risk identification, probability/impact analysis, response planning and reporting/escalation
• Be able to apply advanced planning through scheduling and cost control
• Have an appropriate process for managing change in a controlled way and getting the authorisations and communication right
• Be apply to apply the tools and techniques to understand and manage your stakeholders
• Create a list of actions that you can take forward as a Personal Development Plan to follow on from the training
