Who is this course for?
This course is suitable for all Budget Holders and Budget Controllers who are either new to the LSE, new to managing a budget, or any of the above who require a refresher’s course.
 
Overview
Statements 4 training is a computer-based hands on course demonstration how a financial summary and detailed reports can be obtained from Aptos (the School’s financial system).  This includes:-

• Income: sales invoices and receipts
• Expenditure: purchase invoices and expenses paid (looking up scanned documents)
• Budget summary
• Transaction enquiry

There is also an overview of how the Finance Division account/budget codes are structured in Aptos and how budget holders and controllers are assigned rights.
 
What is not covered
How to manage your budgets.  This is a recommended follow-up conversation after the training with the Management Accounting Team.
