A taste course of three major languages in the East Asia, namely, Mandarin Chinese, Japanese and Korean. The one week course allows you to gain a general knowledge of the similarities and differences in the languages and cultures of the three countries concerned. You will gain a better understanding of the uniqueness of each region and the rich tradition. By the end of the week, you will be able to introduce yourself in all three languages and get to write your name in three distinctive writing styles. 

Each week, the students will have 10hrs teaching in the following format:
 

• Monday 10am-12pm: All three languages together, introduction to each language and culture’s distinctive features as well as things in common
• Tuesday 10am-12pm: Mandarin Taster: Self Introduction (both speaking and writing)
• Wednesday 10am – 12pm: Japanese Taster: Self Introduction (both speaking and writing
• Thursday 10am – 12pm: Korean Taster: Self Introduction (both speaking and writing)
• Friday 10am-12pm: All three languages together: Student presentation in the three languages about themselves
