Intended for students with the Intermediate/Advanced level of proficiency in Russian who are interested in acquiring and enhancing their translation skills for academic and professional purposes; with a specific focus on how to deal with such issues as: 

• intercultural communication skills 
• interpreting strategies and summary techniques
• stylistic accuracy and vocabulary range 
• quality assessment (convergent/divergent language requirements)
