| Description: | Presented by Penny Hilton, UAL Have you ever thought about introducing your research project as a short film? It' s easy - come along and find out how. This workshop will offer an opportunity to learn some principles of basic film making and set you up with some simple ideas, using easily accessible tools to create your own arresting film showcasing your project. During this 3 hour session, we will look at examples of how best to use this medium to effectively get your message across and what pitfalls you should avoid. Feel free to bring any visual material with you for individual tuition otherwise just come along and get some ideas. Participants of this workshop will be invited to the UAL Post graduate Design show on 2 December 2014 where you can see first-hand how some of the skills you will be learning are put into practice. A follow up session in January will be offered for those keen.
