Course: Data management, data protection, and research ethics surgeries
Description:
This surgery is not a presentation session. Instead it is an opportunity for you to ask questions you have regarding:
  • Data protection: the Data Protection and Freedom of Information Acts
  • Funder requirements for sharing data
  • Intellectual Property, copyright and licencing data use and re-use
  • Managing safe and secure storage
  • Records management for data
  • Writing and implementing a data management plan
  • When and how to complete a research ethics application
Staff or students are welcome to reserve a place. This course runs every two weeks. Please email Datalibrary@lse.ac.uk  if you have any questions, would like to book an alternative time, or arrange to speak in confidence about an issue.
