Presented by the JSPS officials, the seminar will focus on the variety of funding opportunities JSPS have for LSE researchers to collaborate with researchers in Japan. JSPS offers individual fellowships up to professorial level, funding for group level projects and institutional level collaborations to build international networks. It is Japan’s leading funding agency and is largely funded through annual subsidies from the Japanese Ministry of Education, Culture, Science, Sports and Technology (MEXT).
