Programme: IT Practical Workshops Microsoft Office 2013
Course: Excel: Calculated Worksheets
Description:

This workshop is ideal for those who are self-taught or new to Excel as it incorporates good practice principles. It is also useful for anyone who needs to be able to design and create a budget.

By the end of this session you will understand how to:

  • Create and copy formulas
  • Format numbers and text
  • Set a print range for large spreadsheet

Our IT Practical workshops flip traditional training on its head by presenting learners with a problem to be solved and encouraging them to use their prior experience, web searches, in-application Help programs, and their fellow students or colleagues to find the solutions.

This workshop is for Office 2013/2016 (Mac) only. Computers are provided.

The workshops are all held in ALD.3.02F (The Amber Miro Room). Please allow 10 minutes travel time if you are walking from the New Academic Building or Library, and 5 minutes from Old Building or the Saw Swee Hock Student Centre.

Prerequisites:

If you are completely new to Excel, or need a review of the absolute basics, please work through the various sections listed in Basic tasks in Excel 2013 to explore and play with various skills presented.
