| Description: | Who is this course for? This workshop is suitable for all staff and is run by the LSE Staff Counselling Service. Overview This workshop will look at the use of mindfulness as an excellent way of managing stress. Mindfulness is an approach which can help reduce the amount of time you spend worrying about things. Learning to be mindful can help you to put things in perspective and achieve focus. The workshop will look at how we can combine it with other practical techniques to reduce stress and better manage the pressures of everyday life and work. These strategies will also be useful for anyone wanting to know more about how to look after and maintain their mental health. |
