Course: Clinic: Fundamentals of grant writing

***PLEASE NOTE - you will need to bring/send in advance your draft proposal or a previously submitted proposal for group exercise.


***PLEASE NOTE - no shows or late cancellations will be charged to the department/centre/insitute you are based. You can cancel up to 5 days prior to the session, i.e. 5th March 2017.


This is a half-day course - you should be available to attend for the whole duration of session.  If you think you cannot attend fully during the half day, please email the training provider to arrange a one-to-one meeting instead of registering. 


This hands-on clinic is specifically designed for those who have applied for research funding in the past or attended the workshop with Professor John Wakeford, "Fundamentals of Grant Writing" within the last two academic years.

There is a morning and an afternoon session available - please select the option convenient for you. Limited to a minimum of 4 academics per session. 

Delivered by a Research Development Manager from the Research Division and an external speaker, Professor John Wakeford.

Previous experience of applying for funding and/or attendance of Fundamentals of Grant Writing workshops in the past.
