Course: Step-up! From school to university - 5 things you need you know
Description:

In your first year as an undergraduate at LSE, you’ll be met with a lot of new and exciting challenges. In this 50-minute talk, Gemma Stansfield and Heather Dawson will give an overview of five key skills to ensure a smooth transition to university: managing your workload and meeting deadlines, finding information on your own, reading academic texts, writing essays and referencing. In general, taking responsibility for your own learning – which includes asking for help when you need it!

This workshop is delivered by the Library & LSE LIFE as part of the Specialist Curriculum and is recommended for 1st year undergraduates.
