Course: Construct effective arguments
Description:

Arguments are everywhere in university study - from reading different scholars’ arguments within your field to writing your own in assigned essays. What makes an effective academic argument, and how do we recognise them? What are some of the key hallmarks of an argument? During this workshop you’ll practise analysing different arguments, and learn to use this skill to develop your own arguments.
