Course: Master's Dissertation: plan and conduct responsible, ethical research
Description:

Does your dissertation research involve interviews, focus groups, or observing other people?  Or perhaps you are using data through which individuals can be identified?  If so, you will need to consider the ethical implications of your research and be familiar with the LSE Research Ethics Policy and procedures.  In this workshop with Lyn Grove from LSE’s Research Division, you’ll learn about informed consent; confidentiality; and other ethical considerations.  You’ll also discover where you can go for support and advice about ethical clearance or other questions related to ethics as your research progresses over the coming months.
