Programme: Microsoft Office 2016 (Windows) IT Practical Workshops
Course: Excel 4d: Charting Data
Description:

This workshop is ideal for anyone who needs to present data in chart form and assumes a basic understanding of how to create and format a simple chart. By the end of this session, you will understand how to:

  • use Excel to create a number of different charts
  • use charts to compare different sets of data and predicting trends
  • represent percentages in chart form
  • display stock figures or confidence intervals

Our IT Practical workshops flip traditional training on its head by presenting learners with a problem to be solved and encouraging them to use their prior experience, web searches, in-application Help programs, and their fellow students or colleagues to find the solutions.

This workshop is for Office 2016 (Windows) only. Computers are provided.

The workshops are all held in ALD.3.02F (The Amber Miro Room). Please allow 10 minutes travel time if you are walking from the New Academic Building or Library, and 5 minutes from Old Building or the Saw Swee Hock Student Centre.

Prerequisites:

Before booking this workshop, please ensure that you have experience of creating and formatting a simple chart.
