Course: Question the question: what am I being asked to write?
Description:

No one is surprised at the amount of time and energy needed to research and write an essay. But many are surprised at the idea of spending time and energy to analyse and interpret the essay topic or question itself. Yet, how can you write a good essay if you don’t have a clear idea of what you’re being asked? We’ll clarify what is meant by “critically assess” and “discuss” and practise interpreting essay questions and reading “between the lines”. This workshop is recommended for undergraduate and taught Master's students.
