Programme: Personal Effectiveness
Course: Emotional intelligence

Who is this course for?
This course is suitable for anyone at all levels who wants to gain a better understanding of themselves and others in order to improve their emotional intelligence. Improved EI will enable more productive self-management and enhanced relationships with others.

This highly practical workshop provides a deep dive into our personal values and triggers to help improve day to day self-management and enhance our understanding of the world around us. Increased awareness of self and others is key to understanding what you are getting and enabling you to be the best version of yourself. It helps us to spot opportunities to flex our own approach and to get the best out of our relationships with others. We work with you to understand the psychology of emotional intelligence and explore a variety of ways in which you can both embrace and develop it.

By the end of this course you will:

  • Understand the layers of emotional intelligence including self-regard, self-awareness and self-management.
  • Know how self-esteem is affected by our filters and conditioning and understand how to strengthen it.
  • Identify your values and triggers that guide your emotional reactions to situations and people.
  • Appreciate core emotional states and understand how to balance where we spend our time.
  • Understand the value of self-reflection and renewal
  • Know your personal strengths and development areas and have a plan to build on these.
  • Know how to adapt your approach to others and build more successful relationships.

As part of the workshop we will be using a leading EI tool to help you identify your strengths and development areas against key EI traits. In order to do this you’ll be sent a link to a questionnaire which must be completed prior to attendance.
