Course: Master's Dissertation: what is a literature review?
Description:

We all know that the literature review is part of your dissertation - maybe a couple or a few thousand words, maybe longer – depending on how you choose to structure your dissertation. But what else is there to know?  In this talk, we’ll address some key questions about your literature review;  the nature and the function of the text, and the process of reading and writing to review literature in order to write the text.  We’ll also talk about what helps make a good literature and some common pitfalls to avoid, as you read, make notes, draft, and edit your own literature review.
