Course: Master's Dissertation: write your data management plan
Description:

Have you been asked to complete a Data Management Plan by your Department or as part of Ethics Review? Or do you want to plan out how you will manage the data you will collect for your dissertation? Writing a Data Management Plan is a great way to prepare you for collecting, using, organising and storing your research data effectively. Not only will this save you time during your dissertation, it also ensures you are handling any personal data in line with data protection legislation and your ethical duties.

This practical workshop will give you the time to get started writing your data management plan, where the Research Data Librarian will be on-hand to give you key information and tips and support and answer questions while you write. This workshop will be most useful for students who already have a clear idea of dissertation topic. Before coming to the workshop we recommend students check the slides for previous workshops on writing a data management plan and getting your data in shape
