Programme: Atlas 2019-20
Course: Playful learning and creativity

Playfulness - the quality of being light-hearted or full of fun.

Creativity - the ability to transcend traditional ideas, rules, patterns, relationships, or the like, and to create meaningful new ideas, forms, methods, interpretations.

As the end of a hectic academic year approaches hopefully you are all beginning to feel more light-hearted, and whilst perhaps not currently ‘full’ of fun, some fun and relaxation is on the horizon!

In this workshop you will have the opportunity to engage with a range of creative activities that are designed to help you reflect on your teaching practice. Based on the principles of experiential learning – learning through reflection on doing – we will explore how you might deploy some of these creative tools within the classroom.

Who should attend?

Anyone who would like to explore the role of playfulness and creativity in learning.

If you attended last year, you are welcome to attend again if you wish. The activities will vary from those you did last year.
