Course: Literature Searching for your Research
Description:

This session is aimed at new staff or PhD students to introduce a wide range of electronic resources available via LSE Library. It will be a chance to ask questions and get a taster of what resources are available. It will also provide you with contact details for your Academic Support Librarian who can offer more specific help and advice. It covers the following topics:

  • Accessing the Library Catalogue, electronic journals, books 
  • Using databases such as IBSS, Scopus and Web of Science for literature searching
  • Off-campus access
  • Where to get further help and advice

Those attending will benefit from bringing own device to be able to apply using examples provided during the session.
