Course: Introduction to small project management virtual workshop - 5 hours

Who this is for?

For people with responsibility for managing small projects or are delegated responsibility for completing key stages on bigger projects.

 

Overview

This is a one-day virtual workshop, which is designed to equip participants with the essential knowledge, tools and techniques to enable them to run a small project effectively.

 

Methods used:                  

A combination of input, group discussion, and personal reflection.

 

 By the end of the workshop participants will:

  • Be able to explain the three dimensions of effective project management
  • Be able to explain the four phases of a good practice project process
  • Have demonstrated their ability to use a range of techniques to define a project
  • Have practised the use of proven planning tools
  • Have identified the key elements of control 
  • Be able to explain how to close and evaluate projects effectively.

 

The Zoom Platform

You will be sent a meeting invitation to join a Zoom meeting. At least an hour before, please download the Zoom app on your computer or iPad and generate a username and password in order to access the training session.

 

Please aim to join the session five minutes before the start.
